1992 SCAT INTRUDER HOVERCRAFT

Rare vintage hovercraft in great shape. This runs great and is ready to fly. As I get older I don't have the time to run it that I used to.

Powered by a powerful Rotax 503 2 cycle, twin cylinder, dual carb engine. Has electric start, instrument panel, and full lighting package that includes headlights, anchor light, and marine navigation lights. This is registered as a boat, so can be used on any body of water. Comes with the custom built tilt bed trailer that is pictured. Skirt has been replaced a few years ago and has over half its life remaining. Machine has been stored inside its whole life

The fiberglass upper body is in great shape with some spider cracks in the gel coat. This is very common for a craft of this age. The ABS, foam sandwiched hull is also in very good shape.

This is very fun to run in snow and ice, and handles swamps, running water, lakes and ponds with ease. Top cruising speed on land is around 60 mph, on water it is 35 mph. Runs for about 2 hrs on a tank of fuel. I use 91 octane with octane booster.
