We bought him in January of 2023, and rode him a dozen or so times that summer but we more focused on letting him grow up and fill out. He was then turned out for winter. Then this spring I had our second baby and my intermediate husband rode him when he could but that still wasn't very often. Over the last two years he has seen all the sights and sounds and has yet to spook. He will go where you point him, even across water. He has been a great trail horse but the last time he was asked to get up and move he got a little bit of an attitude. He just crow hopped and threw his head a little bit. Up until that point we had no issues. He has 4 black feet, you can pick them all up but we are still working on standing still to trim them. He can be intimidated by bigger guys until he trust them.
