Badlanders LLC is looking for wildland firefighters for the upcoming season. Travel the country while getting paid to do so, defend your communities, find your why.

Badlanders LLC is looking for professional wildland firefighters. Building a good crew takes time and we are looking for people who want to be available not just during fire season but year-round for suppression, RX, fuels reduction, and more. This requires a special type of lifestyle and commitment. Employment is always based on current and expected wildfire potential. Start and end days will always vary and change without notice. Must be 18 years old to apply. Rookies encouraged. Badlanders LLC has two Type 6 VIPR engines on a national dispatch, we can be sent to anywhere in the United States at any time. Expect to be gone anywhere from April-November. We also have fuels work right here in North Dakota involving removing woody encroachment and restoring the prairie. Rookies welcome to apply; we have no issues training.

Must be reliable and willing to follow chain of command at all times, no drugs or alcohol, no violent offenses. Must be in good physical fitness.

Pay varies by experience

Minimum pay: $23.07/hr plus $4.98/hr health and wellness ( $28.05 ) for VIPR contracts,

$15/hr plus $7.50/hr health and wellness ($22.50) for Fuels work
