This pump was used on my sand point well. The well cavitated very quickly and became worthless after a couple months so the pump didn't get used a whole lot. It's a 115 volt pump. The valve on the pipe was for priming the system. Sand-point and pipe were stuck in the ground and couldn't be removed.
